Kairi King is a senior at Bridgeport High School.  She has been involved with API since the fall of 2015, taking her first tumbling class.  She quickly caught dance fever and would go on over the next several years to take classes in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, modern, ballroom, hip-hop, and pointe.  Additionally, she has performed and competed as a member of various API dance companies which has given her the opportunity to learn from dance educators and to take the stage at various conventions and competitions including JUMP, 24/7, ASH, Extreme Talent, Showstoppers, PAC, Star Talent, WV Dance Festival, and Dance WV.  She also recently completed a week-long residency at the WVU Summer Dance Academy.  Kairi is not only passionate about her own dancing but also about providing an opportunity for other dancers to learn the art, build their confidence, and step into new roles in their lives.  She is looking forward to sharing that passion with younger members of her API family.
