Kim is a resident of Clarksburg, WV who danced at Ramona Rose School of Dance as a child and has been a dance mom for almost thirty years. Kim studied Elementary Education with a preschool specialization and taught in Harrison County Collaborative Pre-Kindergarten Classroom for fourteen years. She is a certified instructor in Dance to Learn as well as Leap and Learn.
Kim believes that creative movement should be movement that includes the inner nature of the child, encouraging children to explore movement using music while developing physical skills and channeling energy in a healthy, age appropriate way.
Kim Is self employed as a title abstractor and is the Vice President of the API Board of Directors. In her spare time, she enjoys boating, camping, traveling and family Disney trips. Her and her husband, Mike, are the proud parents of two daughters, Jordan Shelly and husband Justin and fellow board member Jamie Fox and husband Ronnie. They have four grandchildren Brecken, Emberlyn and Leighton Shelly, and Navy Fox.
